HACCP Training in Tetritskaro Municipality

We successfully conducted a practical HACCP and Food Safety Training in Tetritskaro Municipality, bringing together participants to strengthen their knowledge and practical understanding of food safety management.

The training focused on how HACCP principles can be applied in everyday food operations—not simply as a documentation requirement, but as a practical system for identifying, assessing, and controlling food safety hazards.

During the sessions, participants worked through key topics including prerequisite programmes (PRPs), hazard identification and analysis, control measures, Critical Control Points (CCPs), monitoring, corrective actions, verification, and documentation. These elements are closely aligned with the food safety management approach reflected in ISO 22000:2018.

A strong emphasis was placed on practical examples, discussion, and understanding how food safety requirements can be translated into effective day-to-day controls.

The training in Tetritskaro was another important opportunity to support the development of a stronger food safety culture, where employees understand not only what needs to be controlled, but also why their individual actions matter.
